NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Service Companies), the apex body of the Indian Software & Services Industry will hold its Annual Leadership Forum in Mumbai between 11-13th Feb this week. Buyers and Investors seek answers to tougher questions about the value/risk tradeoff associated with big Indian offshore commitments, and U.S. politicians prepare a policy rider that would bar any companies receiving federal bailout funds from hiring workers with H-1B visas.
In recent years, global delivery providers settled happily into year-after-year with 30% to 50% growth rates. The Event this year will be a more sober and earnest happening as it is just two and a half months after the Mumbai terrorist attacks and two months into Satyam Computer Services’ fall from grace. The Event will be well-attended with more interest in the content of the Conference.
